Having been in the XRP Top 10 poll several times, playing ‘Crash Festival’ which XRP attended, released an E.P, plus so much more, all in the last few months, this awesome UK band deserve some recognition.

‘Arcade Parade are a Indie/Rock band from Shropshire consisting of brothers Ollie and Elliot Scott, Jacob Feguson and Dan Byrne. Over the past two years the band have played Osfest (twice) alongside Example, Razorlight and Hard-Fi, Shrewsbury Fields Forever Festival with The Wombats, The Sunshine Underground and Simon & Oscar from Ocan Colour Scene. They have performed at The O2 Academy 2 & 3 in Birmingham, The Slade Rooms in Wolverhampton, Birmingham Ballrooms, The Shed in Leicester and The Sugarmill in Stoke
The band recorded their debut cd at the famous Sawmills Studios in Cornwall and in 2012 they recorded their first ep with acclaimed producer Gavin Monaghan at Magic Garden Studios. The debut single and video is set for release in late November with the EP following early 2013.’

Having seen them preform at Crash Festival (August 2013) i was amazed at the pure talent that these boys have, they exceeded my expectations of their live preformance after listening to their EP on XRP Radio. They held a crowd of 500+ people in miserable weather with such a tight set, they surprised everyone by playing well known ‘Omen’ which definately lifted the audience in a sequence of bopping, bouncing and head-banging 🙂 having also spoken to them briefly after their set, i found that they were such polite, genuine lads….

Currently under the watchful eye of ELT Records, I can see big things for these lads… Though i think the quiffs may have to go 😛

I reccomend you listen to ‘Grace‘ to get the best taste of Arcade Parade!
